Your Suits Me account is closing

Hello,   

This email is to notify you that your Suits Me account is being closed in 60 days’ time on 31st October 2019.  This in line with the terms and conditions of your account and card.

Why is this happening?

In March 2019 we launched our new account, Premium Plus, and will therefore be closing the old-style accounts. The fees are the same, but the new account has a host of new features:

  • Free use of our Apple and Android Apps
  • An increase of your ATM daily limit to £500
  • Contactless payments
  • Your own individual IBAN number so that friends and family from overseas can send you money
  • Direct Debits and Faster Payments
  • Google and Samsung Pay
  • Quicker International Transfers

How to apply for a new account

To apply for a new account and receive a free contactless debit card, please email hello@suitsmecard.com

This email must include:

  • Account number
  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address
  • Full UK address

Please Note: Opening a new Suits Me current account and receiving your new Visa Debit Card is free with no additional charges.

Tips for a smooth upgrade:

If you choose to open a new account, you can use your card as soon as you receive it – just remember to transfer your balances from the old to the new account.

Share your new account number and sort code with anyone who regularly pays money into your account such as your employer or DWP; they will need to use your new account number and sort code to make payments after 31st October 2019.

Any payments sent to your old account after the 31st October 2019 will be returned to the sender. 

If you do not want a new account, what do I need to do?

Your current Suits Me card will cease to work, and your Suits Me account will be closed on 31st October 2019. You will need to clear the funds from your account. You can do this by:

  • Spending your funds
  • Moving them to another account
  • Withdrawing them from an ATM

If you have lost your card you may order a new one in order to remove the funds from your account.

Once your account is empty please destroy your card by cutting it through the chip and mag-stripe.
