Closing Your Account

We’ll be sad to see you go, but here’s the quickest way to close your Suits Me account.

How Does Account Closure Work?

To close your Suits Me account you need to call the customer care team on 0330 159 0199. They will ask for your:

  • Account number
  • Name
  • Date-of-Birth
  • Reason for closing your account

Once you’ve provided these details, we will begin closing your account.

Closing your account will take no more than 7 days, initially, your account will be suspended as remaining bank transfersdirect debits or standing orders are completed. Once the 7 days have elapsed, we’ll let your know that your account has been closed.

There is a £5.00 fee to close your Suits Me account to cover admin expenses. If your account closes in less than one month after opening it, you can close your account for free.

Can I Close my Account Temporarily?

You don’t have to leave us forever if you know you’re not going to use your e-money current account and card for a while and you don’t want to pay your monthly management fees, get contact our customer care team to let us know.

We’ll set the status of your account to dormant, this means you won’t be able to make transactions or use your debit card but your account will still be there when you’re ready to use it again.
