About Suits Me
Suits Me is a UK-based fintech providing an alternative to traditional banking. We offer
accessible and inclusive financial products to those who may be underserved by
mainstream banks. As we grow, we are excited to launch co-branded card
partnerships with UK football clubs, helping fans feel even closer to the teams they
love while offering financial empowerment.
The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Football Club Partnerships Manager to
take full ownership of our relationships with football clubs across the UK. You’ll be
responsible for the development, activation, and ongoing success of co-branded
partnerships, ensuring fans use and love their co-branded Suits Me cards.
You will lead club-level campaigns that engage fans, drive card uptake, and deliver
value back to the club and its community. From supporter events and podcasts to
merchandise collaborations and local business tie-ins – you’ll build and manage a
vibrant, high-value activation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Be the primary point of contact for partner football
clubs. Build strong, trusted relationships with club staff, community leads, and fan
groups. - Campaign Planning: Design and execute fan-focused activation campaigns –
including matchday promotions, digital content, competitions, and supporter
rewards. - Local Ecosystem Development: Build a network of local businesses and
sponsors to create value-added benefits for fans (e.g. discounts at restaurants,
shops, gyms). - Revenue Growth: Drive usage and adoption of co-branded cards among
supporters, delivering financial value to both Suits Me and club partners. - Brand Integration: Work with our internal marketing team to ensure Suits Me’s
brand aligns with the club’s identity, tone and values. - Creative Ideas: Pitch new concepts to clubs, including branded food packaging,
podcast sponsorships, exclusive offers, or player-led campaigns. - Event Execution: Lead the organisation of fan events, community workshops, or
pre-match activations involving the co-branded cards. - Reporting & Insights: Track success of each campaign or partnership and
provide feedback for continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for someone who loves people, understands fans, and thrives on building
high-energy partnerships.
Essential
- Proven experience in sales, partnership or sponsorship management, ideally
in sports, fintech, or consumer brands. - Passion for football and understanding of how clubs engage with their supporters.
- Strong project and campaign management skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen – understands how to deliver value to all parties involved.
- Creative mindset – you bring original ideas to life with energy and detail.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with local businesses or sponsorship activations.
- Understanding of financial products, digital banking, or prepaid card ecosystems.
- Comfortable on-site at football matches and fan events.
Package
- Base Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
- Performance Bonus: Up to £20,000
- Car Allowance or Car & Travel Expenses
- Holiday: 30 days + bank holidays
- Flexible / Hybrid Working: Primarily remote with regular travel to clubs and
occasional time at our office (Manchester and/or Knutsford) as agreed.
