The Role
As a Graduate Frontend Engineer (Mobile & Web), you’ll build delightful, accessible
user experiences across our React Native apps and React web properties. You’ll work
primarily in TypeScript, contributing UI components, screens, and native modules
where needed, and partnering with backend teams to deliver reliable, secure customer
journeys for onboarding, payments, cards, and account features.
You’ll collaborate with application and platform engineers to evolve our design system,
improve performance, and ship features behind safe rollout strategies.

What you’ll be doing
- Building React Native screens and React web components in TypeScript, wired
to REST APIs - Implementing native modules/bridges (iOS/Android) when platform capabilities
are needed - Contributing to our design system and component library with strong
accessibility practices - Optimising performance (startup time, bundle size, memory, jank) and ensuring
smooth animations/gestures - Adding robust testing – unit (Jest), component (React Testing Library), and endto-end (Playwright)
- Shipping via modern CI/CD (GitHub Actions) with app store pipelines
(Fastlane/EAS) and feature flags/remote config - Using analytics to measure outcomes, instrumenting events thoughtfully
- Handling secure storage, permissions, deep links, notifications, and offline-first
patterns where appropriate - Writing clear documentation and participating in code reviews and pairing
What you’ll bring to Suits Me
- Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals and enthusiasm for mobile & web UI
- Understanding of React patterns (hooks, state, composition) and basic React
Native concepts - Awareness of HTTP, JSON, and common API integration patterns
- Curiosity about native platforms (iOS/Android) and how to bridge capabilities
into RN - Care for accessibility, usability, and performance
- Collaborative mindset, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
Standout candidates will also…
- Show projects or internships using React Native and/or React in TypeScript
- Demonstrate knowledge of design systems, component APIs, and story-driven
development (Storybook) - Understand app release lifecycles, code signing, and safe rollouts (feature
flags/percent rollouts) - Have experience with native modules, deep links, or notifications
- Be comfortable using analytics and writing small experiments to validate impact
