August Competition – Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
1.1 The competition is open to Suits Me customers aged 18 or over who hold a Suits Me account during the Competition Period.
1.2 By participating, entrants confirm they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Competition Period
2.1 The competition runs from 7th August 2026 (after 00:01am) to 6th September 2026 (before 11:59pm) (“Competition Period”).
3. How to Enter & Entries
3.1 During the Competition Period, Suits Me will announce one Mystery Merchant clue each week via its official Instagram Stories and Facebook Stories.
3.2 Each weekly Mystery Merchant clue will relate to a different shopping category and will be valid from the time it is published on Suits Me’s official Instagram Stories and Facebook Stories until the next weekly Mystery Merchant clue is published. The date and time each clue becomes active will be stated in the relevant social media post.
3.3 To enter the competition, customers must make a qualifying purchase using their Suits Me card within the shopping category relating to that week’s Mystery Merchant clue during the relevant competition week.
3.4 For the purposes of this competition, a qualifying purchase means:
– a successful card payment transaction made using a Suits Me card;
– of £5 or more;
– completed during the relevant competition week;
– made within the shopping category relating to that week’s Mystery Merchant clue; and
– not subsequently reversed, refunded, charged back, cancelled or declined.
3.5 For the purposes of this competition, a “shopping category” means the merchant category assigned to a retailer by the card payment network (Merchant Category Code or MCC). Mystery Merchant clues are intended to indicate a shopping category (for example, food shopping) rather than a specific retailer, unless expressly stated otherwise.
3.6 Cash withdrawals, bank transfers, balance enquiries, account funding transactions, gambling transactions and any fees or charges applied to the account do not qualify as qualifying purchases.
3.7 Each qualifying purchase will earn one entry into the prize draw.
3.8 Each qualifying purchase constitutes a separate entry. Customers may receive multiple entries by making multiple qualifying purchases that meet the qualifying criteria throughout the Competition Period.
3.9 Customers who make a qualifying purchase within the relevant shopping category during the relevant competition week will be automatically entered into the prize draw, regardless of whether they have viewed or interacted with the Mystery Merchant clue on Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories.
3.10 Customers are not required to follow, like, comment on, share or interact with any social media content in order to participate. Entry is gained solely through making a qualifying purchase that meets the Mystery Merchant criteria.
3.11 Suits Me’s transaction records and systems will be used to determine whether a qualifying purchase meets the Mystery Merchant criteria and such records shall be final.
3.12 Qualifying shopping categories will be determined using the merchant category information received by Suits Me from the card payment network (Merchant Category Code or MCC). A retailer’s assigned shopping category may differ from the products or services it offers. Suits Me is not responsible where a retailer is categorised differently from a customer’s expectation, and Suits Me’s determination of whether a transaction qualifies for the relevant week’s Mystery Merchant clue shall be final.
3.13 The shopping category relating to each weekly Mystery Merchant clue will not be disclosed until that week’s competition period has ended.
3.14 If you do not wish to be entered into the prize draw, please email competitions@suitsmecard.com before the end of the Competition Period.
4. Prize
4.1 There will be one (1) winner of the Competition, who will receive a prize of £250.
4.2 The prize will be credited directly to the winner’s Suits Me account within 30 days of winner confirmation.
4.3 The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
4.4 Receipt of the prize is subject at all times to the winner’s continued compliance with the terms and conditions of their Suits Me account.
5. Winner Selection & Notification
5.1 Each qualifying transaction that meets the Mystery Merchant criteria will count as one entry into the Competition. All eligible entries received during the Competition Period will be combined into a single prize draw. One (1) winner will be selected at random.
5.2 The draw will take place on 7th September 2026 at Suits Me’s head office.
5.3 Suits Me will endeavour to contact the winner by telephone and/or email within 7 days of the draw.
5.4 If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the first contact attempt, or is found to be ineligible, Suits Me reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Winners & Publicity
6.1 The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition, including photographs, social media content or testimonial material.
6.2 Participation in any publicity activity is entirely voluntary and will only take place with the winner’s explicit consent.
7. General
7.1 Suits Me’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final.
7.2 No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition.
7.3 Suits Me reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where it becomes necessary to do so at any time and without notice.
7.4 Suits Me accepts no responsibility for customers failing to view, receive or access Mystery Merchant clues on Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories.
7.5 Suits Me shall not be liable for any technical failures, delays or interruptions affecting participation in the competition.
7.6 If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
7.7 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
