FAQs
What’s the difference between a debit card and a credit card?
A debit card spends your own money from your Suits Me banking account, while a credit card borrows money that you pay back later, usually with interest. Suits Me offers a debit card, not credit.
Does a debit card affect my credit score?
Everyday spending on a debit card doesn’t build credit. There’s no credit line involved and we don’t run a credit check to open your account.
Can I have multiple accounts with different providers?
Yes, you can hold a Suits Me account alongside accounts from other banks or financial providers. Having more than one account can be useful for budgeting or separating personal and business spending.
How much can I pay with my debit card?
You can tap to pay up to £100 per contactless transaction and you’ll be asked for your PIN after five taps in a row. Overall spending and ATM limits depend on your plan.
What should I update when I get a new debit card?
Update the places where your old card was saved, like subscriptions, streaming, delivery apps, online shops and digital wallets. Your account number and sort code stay the same, but your card number, expiry date and security code change. If you need help, read our replacement guide.
Is this a prepaid card or a debit card?
It’s a Mastercard debit card linked to your Suits Me online money account. You add funds and then spend, with no overdraft.
Can I raise my limits?
Limits are fixed by plan for security and fraud protection. You can see them on the account limits page.
Can I withdraw cash at a Post Office?
You can use any ATM that accepts Mastercard. For other cash options, check our Help Centre.
Can I use my debit card outside the UK?
Yes, you can use it wherever Mastercard is accepted. International fees may apply, so check the fees page.
