As of today, Monday 6th April 2020, we have increased the spend limit when using your Suits Me® debit card for contactless payments from £30 to £45.
Most retailers accept contactless payment, however, if you’re in doubt and cannot see the below symbol, ask the retailer before payment.

We have done this to help to keep you safe during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This helps to reduce the requirement of physical contact of a card machine when entering your PIN as Coronavirus can be spread by touching contaminated surfaces.
Although we have now increased the contactless spend limit to £45, retailers will need to update their systems also to accept contactless payments of up to £45. The majority of larger supermarkets have raised accepted limits to £45 however, there may still be some retailers that are still at the £30 limit.
Please note, you will still be required to enter your PIN if you have spent more than £135 using contactless payments in a single day.
Spending More Than £45?
There are no limits on contactless payments using your debit card with Google Pay (you may be required to enter you authenticate higher value transactions by unlocking your phone with your fingerprint, passcode/password or pattern), however, the retailer may have a limit in place, so it’s worth checking with them.
Suits Me® currently doesn’t support Google Pay and Samsung Pay (22/10/21).
